Huseyn Zakaria Mohammad
Huseyn is currently the National Religious Focal Person (NRFP) of the UNICEF in Nigeria charged with sensitization, advocating and coordination of all religious organizations and sects to comply with immunizations and polio vaccinations. He was first coordinator of the prestigious Northern Muslim Religious Leaders Forum on Primary Health Care (NMRF on PHC) founded by his Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto in 2013.
Huseyn started his public life from 1977 as a pupil teacher in support of Universal Primary Education (UPE). He was thereafter employed by Jama’atu Nasril Islam as the first special emissary to Izombe, Imo State in Eastern Nigeria in charge of new converts. He later left to work with the Saudi Arabia Embassy in the office of the Cultural Attaché as project secretary in charge of all projects implemented in Nigeria by the Saudi government. He later became a consultant for the embassy in charge Hajj and Umrah visas issuance. He was at the same time the Chief Imam of two famous Mosques in Lagos; the 1004 Victoria Island, mosque and the Syrian Mosque.
Huseyn Zakaria Mohammad started his formal education from Sultan Bello Primary school in 1967 and graduated from Bayero University Kano in 1985 from the Faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies. He has attended series of courses in Nigeria and abroad. He has also travelled far and wide within Africa, to North America, the Middle East, Europe and Far East nations. He is the owner and CEO of Azman Concept Limited and Midra Limited companies. He presently resides in Abuja, the federal capital of Nigeria.
