Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki, a renowned Islamic activist, is presently the National President Da’awa Coordination Council of Nigeria (DCCN) and formerly of the National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO) and of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN). He is also the Chairman, Sokoto State Zakat and Endowment Committee.
Lawal Maidoki, an agriculturalist, is the Project Manager of Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA). He began his career as an Assistant Zonal Officer at Kano River Project before he moved to (SRRBDA) where he served in various capacities.
Malam Lawal holds a National Diploma in Irrigation Engineering from the Birnin Kebbi Polytechnic (1987), Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Administration, Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, Talatan Mafara, Zamfara State (2012), Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering, Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Kebbi State (2013) and Diploma in Agribusiness and Post-Harvest Management, Galilee Institute of Management, Israel (2014). He is a member of Nigerian Association of Technologist in Engineering (NATE) and the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
Malam Lawal has contributed immensely to the advancement of Islam. He has travelled to several countries for professional and Da’wah conferences and training. He is happily married and blessed with children
